A RESOLUTION of the City Council of
the City of Kent, Washington, regarding
vacation of a portion of Cemetery Road, a
dedicated street in the City of Kent.
WHEREAS, proper petition has been filed for vacation
of a portion of Cemetery Road, a dedicated street in the City
of Kent, more particularly described as follows:
That portion of the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4
of Section 19, Township 22 North, Range 5
East, W.M. described as follows: Beginning
at the intersection of Jason Avenue North
and East Smith Street, thence south 89° 14'
09.2" east 25 feet, thence south 0°45'50.8"
west 250.91 feet to the true point of be-
ginning, thence south 0°45'50.8" west 98.59
feet, thence in a southeasterly direction
along a curve to the left having a radius
of 125 feet and a central angle of 64°15'18.1"
a·distance of 140.18 feet, thence in a westerly
direction along ~ curve to the right having a
radius of 120 feet and a central angle of
19°29'59.6" a distance of 40.84 feet, thence
north 60°15'04.4" west 82.27 feet, thence in
a northerly direction along a curve to the
ri~ht having a radius of 175 feet and a cen-
tral angle of 19°48'48.6" a distance of 60.51
feet, thence north 0°45'50.8" east 8.34 feet,
thence north 29°44'55.6" east 103.19 feet to
the true point of beginning.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT,
WASHINGTON, DO HEREBY RESOLVE:
Section 1. That the aforesaid petition be heard at a
Regular Meeting of the Kent City Council to be held at 8:00p.m.,
June 3, 1974, in the Council Chambers of the Kent City Hall,
Kent, Washington.
Section 2. That the City Clerk shall give proper
notice of the Hearing and cause the Notice to be posted as pro-
vided by law.

Section 3. That the City Engineer shall process the
petition and obtain the necessary written approval or rejection
of the Water, Sewer and Street Departments and shall transmit
said information to the Planning Department so that the matter
can be considered by the Kent Planning Commission at its regular
meeting of May, 28, 1974.
PASSED at a Regular Meeting of the Kent City Council
this 6th day of May, 1974.
