A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the
City of Kent, Washington regarding a petition
to vacate a portion of North Second Avenue, a
dedicated street in the City of Kent.
WHEREAS, a proper petition has been filed for vacation
of a portion of North Second Avenue, a dedicated street in the
City of Kent, more particularly described as follows;
All that portion of North Second Avenue
lying northerly of the north margin of
South 228th Street in Section 13, T 22N,
R4, EWM,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON,
DO HEREBY RESOLVE:
1. That the aforesaid petition shall be heard at a
regular meeting of the Kent City Council to be held at 8:00 p.m.
April 1, 1974, in the Council Chambers, Kent City Hall, Kent,
Washington.
2. That the City Clerk shall give proper notice of the
hearing and cause the notice to be posted as provided by Ordinance.
3. That the City Engineer shall process the petition
and obtain the necessary written approval or rejection or Water,
Sewer and Street Departments and shall transmit said information
to the Planning Department so that the matter can be considered
by the Kent Planning Commission at its regular meeting of March 26,
1974.
PASSED at a regular meeting of the Kent City Council
this 4th day of March, 1974.
