WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the
following described real property located in the City of Kent,
County of King, State of Washington, and which is more fully
described hereafter, have petitioned the City Council of the City
of Kent to vacate said real property, and
WHEREAS, that certain real property sought to be vacated
is described as follows:
That portion of Washington Street as shown on
the Supplemental Plat of Meeker's First Addition
to the Town of Kent according to Plat recorded
in Volume 5 of Plats, Page 96, Records of King
County, Washington lying northerly of the easterly
production of the north line of Morton Street
(south line of 238th Street) •
now, therefore, it is hereby
RESOLVED: That Monday, the 5th day of November, 1973, at
the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m. is hereby fixed as the time and the
Council Chambers of the City Hall of the City of Kent is hereby
fixed as the place for a hearing upon said petition for said street
vacation, and all persons interested are required then and there to
be present and state their objections, if any they have, in the
granting of said petition, and the City Clerk is directed to take
such steps as are required for notification of said hearing under
the provisions of RCW 35.79.020 of the laws of the State of Wash-
r ington and the City ordinances of the City of Kent.
