A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the
City of Kent, Washington declaring its inten-
tion to improve an area outside the City in
the vicinity of S. E. 256th and 116th S. E.
by the installation of sanitary sewers and
to create a Local Improvement District to
assess the cost and expense of carrying out
such an improvement against the properties
specially benefited thereby; and notifying
all persons who desire to object to the pro-
ject to appear and present their objections
at a meeting of the City Council to be held
on July 16, 1973.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT,
WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. It is the intention of the Council of the
City of Kent, Washington, to order the improvement of the pro-
perty described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and by this re-
ference made a part hereof, all outside the City of Kent, Wash-
ington, by the installation of sanitary sewers, all as described
in Exhibit B, attached hereto and by this reference made a part here-
of, and by which shall include the acquisition, purchase and in-
stallation, where applicable of all necessary fittings and other
appurtenances and easements, permits and rights-of-way.
All of the foregoing shall be in accordance with the
plans and specifications therefore prepared by the City Engineer.
The City reserves the right to make changes in such im-
provement as long as such changes do not materially affect the
purpose of the improvement.
Section 2. The total estimated cost and expense of
the improvement is hereby declared to be $30,300.00, which shall
be borne by and assessed against the property specially benefited
by the improvement to be included in the Local Improvement District
to be established, embracing as near as may be all property spe-
cially benefited by the improvement.

Section 3. All persons who may desire to object to
the improvement herein described are notified to appear and
present such objections at a meeting of the City Council to be
held in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Kent, Washington,
at 8:00 o'clock p.m. (P.D.S.T.) on July 16, 1973, which time and
place are hereby fixed for hearing all matters relating to the
proposed improvement, and all objections thereto, and for de-
termining the method of payment for the improvement.
Section 4. The City Engineer is hereby directed to
submit to the City Council on or prior to July 16, 1973 all data
and information required by law to be submitted.
The foregoing Resolution was ADOPTED by the City Council
of the City of Kent, Washington at its regular open meeting thereof
this 18th day of June, 1973.
