A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the
City of Kent, Washington, authorizing the
Mayor to execute and file an application with
the Economic Assistance Authority, Washington
State Department of Commerce, for a grant and/
or loan to aid in financing the construction
of sanitary sewers from 218th to 212th Street
on East Valley Highway in the City of Kent,
and further authorizing and directing the
City Engineer to furnish such information as
the Economic Assistance Authority may reason-
ably request in connection with the applica-
tion.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KENT, WASHINGTON
Section 1. That Mayor Isabel K. Hogan is hereby autho-
rized to execute and file an application on behalf of the City of
Kent with the Economic Assistance Authority, Washington State De-
partment of Commerce, for a grant and/or loan to aid in financing
the construction of L.I.D. No. 267, East Valley Highway Sanitary
Sewers (218th Street to 212th Street).
Section 2. That Glen W. Sherwood, City Engineer, is
hereby authorized and directed to furnish such information as
the Economic Assistance Authority, Washington State Department
of Commerce, may reasonably request in connection with the ap-
plication which is authorized to be filed.
PASSED at a regular meeting of the Kent City Council
this 7th day of August, 1972.
