A RESOLUTION of the City Council of
the City of Kent, Washington, designating
the Mayor of the City of Kent as the per-
son authorized to execute requisitions for
payment on the Horseshoe Acres sewer pro-
ject, Department of Housing and Urban De-
velopment Project WS-Wash-84, City of Kent.
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban De-
velopment has previously agreed to assist the City of Kent
in construction of a sanitary sewer system in the area of
the City commonly called Horseshoe Acres, and
WHEREAS, the contract on the project,has been let
and the work substantially completed, and
WHEREAS, the City of Kent must submit requisitions
for payment to the Department of Housing and Urban Develop-
ment executed by an authorized representative of the City,
and no such representative having been previously designated,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the 'City of Kent that the Mayor be and hereby is granted
the nec~ssary authority to execute requisitions for payment
on the Horseshoe Acres sewer project, designated by Depart-
ment of Housing and Urban Development as Project WS-Wash-84,
City of Kent.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Kent,
Washington at its regular meeting held June 5, 1972.
