RESOLUTION NO. l t9
A RESOLUTION of the City Council of
the City of Kent, Washington, transferring
monies in the Library Cumulatile Reserve
Fund to the Library Constructi~n Fund, 1972.
WHEREAS, the City Council by Ordinance has established
a Library Cumulative Reserve Fund and has appropriated monies to
said Fund, and
WHEREAS, said funds are necessary for construction and
acquisition of property for off-street parking for the addition
to the Kent Public Library, and
WHEREAS, it would be in the best interests of the
citizens of the City of Kent to allow the transfer of the funds
from the Cumulative Reserve Fund to the Library Construction
Fund, NOW,THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DO
RESOLVE that the monies in the Library Cumulative Reserve Fund
shall be transferred to the Library Construction Fund, 1972 and
may be used for the purpose of construction and/or acquisition
of property for off-street parking for the addition to the Kent
Public Library.
PASSED at a regular meeting of the Kent City Council
this 17th day of April, 1972.
