RESOLUTION NO. J /1
A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City
of Kent, Washington, declaring its intention to
improve a portion of the East Hill Area within the
City in the vicinity of 1 04th Avenue Southeast and
Southeast 256th Street by the installation of storm
sewers and acquisition of open channel easements
and other easements therefor 1 and to create a local
improvement district to assess the cost and expense
of carrying out such improvement against the property
specially benefited thereby; and notifying all persons
who desire to object to the project to appear and
present their objections at a meeting of the City
Council to be held on May 1, 1972.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT,
WASHINGTON, as follows:
Section 1. It is the intention of the Council of the City of
Kent, Washington, to order the improvement of the property described in
Exhibit A 1 attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof 1 all
within the City of Kent, Washington, by the installation of storm sewers
and open channel easements 1 all as described in Exhibit B, attached hereto
and by this reference made a part hereof, and by which shall include the
acquisition 1 purchase and installation, where applicable of all necessary
fittings and other appurtenances and easements, permits and rights of way.
All of the foregoing shall be in accordance with the plans and
specificiations therefor prepared by the City Engineer.
The City reserves the right to make changes in such improvement
as long as such changes do not materially affect the purpose of the
improvement.
Section 2. The total estimated cost and expense of the improve-
ment is hereby declared to be $245, 000.00, all of which shall be borne by
and assessed against the property specially benefited by the improvement to
be included in a local improvement district to be established embracing as
near as may be all property specially benefited by the improvement.

Section 3. All persons who may desire to object to the improve-
ment herein described are hereby notified to appear and present such objections
at a meeting of the City Council to be held in the Council Chambers in the
City Hall, Kent, Washington, at 8:00 o'clock p.m. (PST) on May 1, 1972,
which time and place are hereby fixed for hearing all matters relating to the
proposed improvement, and all objections thereto, and for determining the
method of payment for that improvement.
Section 4. The City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to
the City Council on or prior to May 1, 1972, all data and information required
by law to be submitted.
The foregoing resolution was ADOPTED by the City Council of 1 ... 3.~
