RESOLUTION NO. ZJ?
A RESOLUTION of the City Council of
the City of Kent, Washington, authorizing
the City Engineer to sign application to
be submitted to State Department of Eco-
logy for a grant to assist in the con-
struction of a sanitary sewer system.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Kent, Washington, as follows:
Section 1. The City Engineer of the City of Kent,
Washington, is hereby authorized to sign an application and
any necessary exhibits to be submitted in connection there-
with to the State Department of Ecology for a grant for con-
struction of a sanitary sewer to be known as the Garrison Creek
Interceptor.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect im-
mediately.
PASSED at a regular meeting of the Kent City Council
this 20th day of December, 1971.

City Clerk of the City of Kent, t<Tashington, and the keeper
of the journal of proceedings of the said City Council of
said City of Kent (herein called the "Governing Body"), do
hereby certify:
1. That the attached Resolution (herein called the
"Resolution 11
), is a true and correct copy of a resolution as
finally adopted at a meeting of the Governing Body held on the
20 day of December, 1971, and duly recorded in my office;
2. That said meeting was duly convened and held in
all respects in accordance with law and to the extent required
by law, due and proper notice of such meeting was given; and
a legal quorum was present throughout the meeting, a legally
sufficient number of members of ~~e Governing Body voted in the
proper manner and for the adoption of said i'esolution; that all
other requirements and proceedings incident to the proper adoption
or passage of said resolution have been duly fulfilled, carried
out, and otherwide observed; and that I am authorized to execute
this Certificate.

affixed the official seal of the City of Kent, Washington, this
