RESOLUTION NO. 10,_
A RESOLUTION of the City Council of
the City of Kent, Washington, authorizing
the expenditure of funds received from the
sale of City property.
WHEREAS, the City has been leasing property to the
Blue Banner Corporation, and
WHEREAS, the City Council directed that said property
be put up for sale, and
WHEREAS, the property was advertised for sale and
sealed bids were received by the City, and
WHEREAS, the bid of Blue Banner was determined to be
the best bid and was accepted by the City by motion duly made,
seconded and passed at a regular City Council Meeting July 19, 1971,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council directed that monies realized
from the sale of the property be used for the expansion and im-
provement of the City Warehouse,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Kent,
Washington, do hereby resolve that monies received from the sale
of City property to Blue Banner be used for the expansion and im-
provement of the City Warehouse and the City Treasurer is hereby
directed to disburse said funds for that purpose.
PASSED at a regular meeting of the Kent City Council
meeting this ;2nd day of August, 1971.
