RESOLUTION NO. 7tJ /
A RESOLUTION of the City of Kent, Wash-
ington declaring an intention to award a con-
tract to the low bidder for construction of a
sanitary sewer system under Local Improvement
District #259, "Horseshoe Acres".
WHEREAS, the City of Kent by Resolution announced
its intention to form a Local Improvement District to provide
sanitary sewers to an area of the City known as "Horseshoe
Acres", and,
WHEREAS, after public hearings before the City Council
thereon, an Ordinance was passed forming said Local Improvement
District, and
WHEREAS, a call for bids for construction of sanitary
sewer facilities was made and four (4) bona fide bids were re-
ceived and reviewed, and
WHEREAS, all provisions of law relating to formation
and creation of Local Improvement Districts have been adhered to,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Kent,
Washington does hereby resolve that:
Section 1. It is its intention to accept the low bid
of Tri-States Construction to construct a sanitary sewer system
within Local Improvement District #259, "Horseshoe Acres".
Section 2. Upon passage and adoption of this Resolution,
the City Clerk shall certify the original thereof and shall then

keep the original Resolution on file in the office of the Kent
City Clerk.
PASSED at a regular meeting of the Kent City Council
this 19th day of July, 1971.
