RESOLUTION NO. __ ~~~q~~-----
lrV'HEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the
allowing described real property located in the City of Kent,
ounty of King, State of Washington and which is more fully
escribed hereafter, have petitioned the City Council of the
ity of Kent to vacate said real property, and
WHEREAS, that certain real property sought to be vacated
s described as follows:
Beginning at the SW corner of vacated
Block 5 in the Plat of Kenthurst Addition
(Plat vacated by Ordinance #1311 lying
north of James St.) being the True Point
of Beginning of property herein described;
th north along the west line of said Block
5 to a point which lies 40 feet north of
the SW corner of Lot 5 in said Block 5; th
west 60 feet to the east line of vacated
Block 4 in said plat; th south along the
east line of said Block 4 to the SE corner
of said Block 4; th east to the True Point
of Beginning. EXCEPT any portion thereof
deeded to the City of Kent lying within
James Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby
RESOLVED: That Monday, the 5th day of April, 1971, at
the hour of 7:00 o'clock p. m. is hereby fixed as the time and
the Council Chambers of the City Hall of the City of Kent is
ereby fixed as the place for a hearing upon said petition for
said street vacation, and all persons interested are required
then and there to be present and state their objections, if any
they have, in the granting of said petition, and the City Clerk
is directed to take such steps as are required for notification of
said hearing under the provisions of RCW 35.79.020 of the laws of
the the State of Washington and the City Ordinances of the City of
Kent.
