RESOLUTION NO. lf1 (
A RESOLUTION designating the Mayor
as Project Administrator under Grant Offer
of August 17, 1970.
WHEREAS, the City of Kent organized and existing under
and by virtue of the laws of the State of Washington, (herein
called "the Applicant"), has heretofore submitted an application
to the United States of America, acting by and through the U. s.
Department of the Interior, Federal Water Quality Administration,
(herein called the "Government"), for a grant for the purposes
designated in the said application; and
WHEREAS, the Government has previously approved said
application, and
WHEREAS, the Applicant has been informed that it is
necessary to appoint a suitable person as administrator for the
project with authority to sign all necessary documents in further-
ance of the project 1
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the Applicant that the Mayor is hereby designated as Project Admin-
istrator and is hereby granted the necessary authority to sign all
proper documents in furtherance of the project covered by the
Grant Offer heretofore referred to.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Kent, Wash-
ington, at its regular meeting held September 8, 1970.
