RESOLUTION NO. L 7 8
A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of
Kent, Washington, declaring its intention to improve
certain properties within the City by constructing and
installing a system of 8, l 0 and 12 inch sewer lines,
and to create a local improvement district to assess
the cost and expense of carrying out such improvement
against the property specially benefited thereby; and
notifying all persons who desire to object to the
project to appear and present their objections at a
meeting of the City Council to be held on September 8,
1970.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT,
WASHINGTON, as follows:
Section l. It is the intention of the Council of the City of Kent,
Washington, to order the improvement of the following described property
within the City of Kent, Washington:
Government Lot 7 in Section 6, Township 22 North,
Range 5 East, W. M.; and
That portion of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest
quarter of Section 6, Township 22 North, Range 5 East,
W .M., lying Westerly of the Valley Freeway; and
Government Lot l in Section 7, Township 22 North,
Range 5 East, W. M.; and
That portion of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest
quarter of Section 7, Township 22 North, Range 5 East,
W .M., lying Westerly of the Valley Freeway; all in
King County, Washington;
by the construction and installation of the following described sewer lines
at the following locations:

All of the foregoing shall be in accordance with the plans and
specifications therefor prepared by the City Engineer.
Section 2. The total estimated cost and expense of said improve-
ment is declared to be $195,000.00. Not to exceed $195,000.00 of the
cost and expense of said improvement shall be borne by and assessed
against the property specially benefited by such improvement to be in-
eluded in a local improvement district to be established embracing as
near as may be all property specially benefited by such improvement.
Section 3. All persons who may desire to object to the improve-
ment hrein described are hereby notified to appear and present such
objections at a meeting of the City Council to be held in the Council
Chambers in the City Hall, Kent, Washington, at 7:00p.m., (PDST) on
September 8, 1970, which time and place are hereby fixed for hearing all
matters relating to the proposed improvement, and all objections thereto,
and for determining the method of payment for that improvement.
Section 4. The City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to
the City Council on or prior to September 8, 1970, all data and in-
formation required by law to be submitted.

The foregoing resolution was ADOPTED by the City Council of the
City of Kent, Washington, at a regular meeting thereof this 3rd day of August,
1970.
