A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the
City of Kent, Washington, regarding vacation of
certain property generally located at South
212th Street and 77th Avenue South more
particularly described as set forth in
Exhibit "A," setting a public hearing for
November 17, 1987, on the application of James
Cassan.
WHEREAS, a proper petition has been filed requesting
vacation of certain property generally located at South 212th
Street and 77th Avenue south, in the City of Kent, as described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference incorporated
herein; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A public hearing on the aforesaid vacation
petition shall be at a regular meeting of the Kent City Council to
be held at 7 o'clock p.m., November 17, 1987, in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall, Kent, Washington.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall give proper notice of
the hearing and cause the notice to be posted as provided by law.
Section 3. The Planning Director shall obtain the
necessary approval or rejection of or other information from the
Public Works Department and shall transmit information to the City
Council so that the matter may be considered by the City council
at a regular meeting on November 17, 1987.
Passed at a regular meeting of the City Council of the

EXHIBIT "A"
Those portions of (Lots "A" and 1, Block "A" town of Van,
according to Plat Recorded in Volume 3 of Plats, page 183, Records
of King County, Washington) described as follows:
That portion of the above lying southerly of the
following described line: beginning at a point on the
easterly line of said Lot "A" which is northerly 24 ft.,
measured along said easterly line, from the southeasterly
corner thereof, thence westerly to a point which is
northerly 16 ft. measured at right angles, from the
southerly line of said lot: and easterly 17 ft., measured
at right angles, from the westerly line of said lot:
thence northerly to a point on the westerly line of said
lot, which is northerly 65 ft. measured along the
westerly line of said Block A, from the southwesterly
corner of said block, and the terminus of said described
line.
