A RESOLUTION of the City of Kent,
Washington, regarding vacation of certain
property generally located at South 192nd
Street between West Valley and 72nd Avenue
South, more particularly described as follows:
The south thirty feet of that
portion of the Henry Adams donation
claim lying within Section 36,
Township 23 North, Range 5 East,
West Meridian, which said portion
lays east of West Valley Highway and
west of 72nd Ave. s.
Setting a public hearing for September 15, 1987
on the application of Northward Properties.
WHEREAS, proper petition has been filed requesting
vacation of certain property at South 192nd Street between West
Valley and 72nd Avenue South, in the City of Kent, as described in
the title of this resolution; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A public hearing on the aforesaid vacation
petition shall be held at a regular meeting of the Kent City
Council at 7 o'clock p.m., September 15, 1987, in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall, Kent, Washington.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall give proper notice of
the hearing and cause the notice to be posted as provided by law.
Section 3. The Planning Director shall obtain the
necessary approval or rejection of or other information from the
Water, Street, and Sewer Departments, and shall transmit
information to the City Council so that the matter can be
considered by the City Council at a regular meeting on
September 15, 1987.
