II~~ I A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Kent, Washington, providing that conveyance of real property through deed and/or dedication to the City should be free and clear of encumbrances. WHEREAS, the City has established certain rules, regulations, requirements and standards for the subdivision of land in the City of Kent; and WHEREAS, the City has established certain rules, regulations, requirements and standards wherein a building applicant may be required to make reasonable public improvements as a condition of the building permit; and WHEREAS, such rules, regulations, requirements and standards may require that certain real property be deeded and/or dedicated to the City; and WHEREAS, the public health, safety, general welfare and aesthetics of the City is often best met by conveyance of real property free and clear of all encumbrances; NOW THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Real property deeded and/or dedicated as part of any subdivision or a public improvement requirement shall be conveyed to the City free and clear of all encumbrances.
