A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the
City of Kent, Washington, regarding vacation of
certain property at 206 s. Naden, and more
particularly described as follows: That
portion of the Southeast quarter of the
Northwest quarter in Section 24 Township 22
North Range 4 East, W.M. King County, WA
described as follows: Beginning at a point on
the East margin of Naden Avenue which lies
180.00 feet South of the South margin of Meeker
Street; thence East parallel with said South
margin a distance of 110.00 feet to the True
Point of Beginning; thence continuing East
parallel with said South margin to a point
which lies 49.00 feet West of the West line of
Puget Sound Power and Light right-of-way;
thence South a distance of 18.00 feet; thence
West parallel with said South margin to a point
due South of True Point of Beginning; thence
North a distance of 18.00 fee to True Point of
Beginning. Containing 3978 Square Feet.
Setting a public hearing for April 7, 1987 on
the application of John A. Phillips, Jr.
WHEREAS, proper petition has been filed requesting
vacation of certain property at 206 s. Naden, in the City of Kent,
as described in the title of this Resolution; NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A public hearing on the aforesaid vacation
petition shall be at a regular meeting of the Kent City Council to
be held at 7:00p.m., April 7, 1987 in the Council Chambers of the
City Hall, Kent, Washington.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall give proper notice of
the hearing and cause the notice to be posted as provided by law.
Section 3. The Planning Director shall obtain the
necessary approval or rejection of, or other information from, the
Water, Street and Sewer Departments, and shall transmit
information to the City Council so that the matter can be
considered by the City Council at a regular meeting on April 7,
1987.
