A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the
City of Kent, Washington, regarding vacation of
certain property at 622 South Central, and more
particularly described as follows:
The east 4 feet of the west 10 feet of
the following described property: Lots
8 and 9, Block 8, Kent, according to
plat recorded in Volume 2 of plats,
page 165. Together with that portion
of vacated alley adjoining that
attaches by operation of law.
setting a public hearing for March 3 1 1987 on
the application of John R. and Joanne Ewing.
WHEREAS, a proper petition has been filed requesting
vacation of certain property at 622 South Central, in the City of
Kent, as described in the title of this resolution; NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A public hearing on the aforesaid vacation
petition shall be at a regular meeting of the Kent City Council to
be held at 7 o'clock p.m., March 3, 1987, in the Council Chambers
of the City Hall, Kent, washington.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall give proper notice of
the hearing and cause the notice to be posted as provided by law.
Section 3. The Planning Director shall obtain the
necessary approval or rejection of or other information from the
Water, Street and Sewer Departments and shall transmit information
to the City Council so that the matter can be considered by the
City Council at a regular meeting on March~, 1987.
Passed at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
