A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the
City of Kent, Washington, regarding vacation of
a portion of South 212th Street in the vicinity
of East Valley Highway and more particularly
described as follows:
That portion of the northwest quarter
of section 7, township 22 north, range
5 east, W.M., King County, Washington,
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the northwest corner of
lot 3 of City of Kent short plat
SP-85-1, as recorded in the records of
King County under recording number
8506201013; thence north 89°57'05"
east, 39.97 feet along the north line
of said Lot 3 and the south margin of
South 212th Street, to the TRUE POINT
OF BEGINNING;
Thence continuing north 89° 57'05" east,
130.62 feet along a line parallel with
and 45.00 feet southerly of the center
line of South 212th Street, to an
intersection with the east line of said
Lot 3 projected northerly;
Thence south 01°15'10" west, 60.02 feet
along said projected east line, to the
northeast corner of said Lot 3;
Thence south 89° 57'05" west, 35.01 feet
along the northerly line of said Lot 3;
Thence north 44°41'16" west, 70.27 feet
along the northeasterly line of said
Lot 3;
Thence north 7~ 29'01" west, 45.97 feet
along the northerly line of said Lot 3
to intersection with the existing south
margin of South 212th Street and the
TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
Containing + 4,094.00 square feet
(0.094 acres).

WHEREAS, a proper petition has been filed requesting
vacation of a portion of South 212th Street in the City of Kent,
as described in the title of this Resolution; NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A public hearing on the aforesaid vacation
petition shall be at a regular meeting of the Kent City Council to
be held at 7:00p.m., November 17, 1986, in the Council Chambers
in the City Hall, Kent, washington.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall give proper notice of
the hearing and cause the notice to be posted as provided by law.
Section 3. The Planning Director shall obtain the
necessary approval or rejection of, or other information from the
Water, Street and Sewer Departments and shall transmit such
information to the City Council so that the matter can be
considered by the City Council at a regular meeting on
November 17, 1986.
Passed at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
