A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the
City of Kent, Washington, acknowledging and
recognizing the tenure of Richard C. Cushing as
Kent City Administrator.
WHEREAS, Richard C. Cushing will conclude his term as City
Administrator on February 18, 1986; and
WHEREAS, ~1r. Cushing served as City Administrator for the City of
Kent since February 5, 1979; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure Mr. Cushing has exercised creative and
innovative management practices in overseeing the development of programs
beneficial to the community, the Mayor, City Council and City
Administration; and
WHEREAS, he has devoted himself to the City of Kent and its
relations with other governments and agencies of government; and
WHEREAS, the City of Kent and its citizens wish to commend
Mr. Cushing for the energy, integrity and dedication with which he has
approached his duties and responsibilities as Kent City Administrator;
NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
The Citizens of the City of Kent by and through their Mayor and
City Council express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to Richard C.
Cushing and commend him for his dedicated service to the City of Kent as
City Administrator from 1979 until 1986.
Passed at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Kent, Washington this (; day of ~~1986.
