RESOLUTION NO. _ \.J L
A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the
City of Kent, Washington, regarding vacation of
a portion of 80th Place South, south of South
180th Street (S.W. 43rd Street) in the City of
Kent, Washington, and more particularly
described herein; setting a public hearing for
February 18, 1986 [request of Burlington
Northern and Mannesmann-Talley].
WHEREAS, a proper petition has been filed requesting
vacation of a portion of 80th Place south, more particularly
described as follows:
NOW THEREFORE
The easterly fifteen feet of the following
described property:
A parcel of land situate in the northeast
quarter of Section 36, Township 23 North,
Range 4 East, W.M., more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at the northwest corner of the
southeast quarter of the northeast quarter
of said Section 36; thence south 87°58'46"
east 40.00 feet along the centerline of.
existing South 180th Street (S.W. 43rd
Street); thence south 1°47'22" west 348.00
feet; thence south 88°12'38" east 346.75
feet to the intersection of the north
margin of 80th Place South as revised
under King county Recording No. 7501220006
in the southwesterly margin of 80th Place
South and the true point of beginning;
thence north 47°42'46" west 402.39 feet;
thence 63.51 feet along the arc of ~
non-tangent curve the center of which
bears south 78°39'05" east 55.00 feet,
through a central angle of 66°09'49";
thence south 47°42'46" east for 70.40
feet; thence north 88°12'38" west 92.39
feet to the true point of beginning.
Said parcel lies wholly within the
northeast quarter of Section 36, Township
23 North, Range 4 East, W.M., and contains
0.61 acres more or less.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That a public hearing on the aforesaid
vacation petition shall be at a regular meeting of the Kent City
council to be held at 7:00p.m., February 18, 1986, in the Council
Chambers in City Hall, Kent, Washington.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall give proper notice of
the hearing and cause notice to be posted as provided by law.
Section 3. The Planning Director shall obtain the
necessary approval or rejection of or other information from the
Water, Street and Sewer Department and shall transmit said
information to the City council so that the matter can be
considered by the City council at a regular meeting on
February 18, 1986.
Passed at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
