A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the
City of Kent, washington, designating the Daily
News Journal as the official newspaper of the
City of Kent.
WHEREAS, Chapter 469, Laws of 1985, makes changes in the
requirements for publishing ordinances and notices by cities,
towns and others; and
WHEREAS, the act requires every city to designate an
official newspaper by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Daily News Journal qualifies as an official
newspaper pursuant to the standards set forth in Chapter 65.16
RCW; NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Daily News Journal shall be the official
newspaper of the City of Kent.
