A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City
of Kent, Washington regarding vacation of a por-
tion of an alley between Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,
7, and Lots 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, in Block
19, Washington Central Improvement Company's
first addition to Kent, between Smith and
McMillan Streets and State and Kennebeck Avenues;
setting a public hearing for July 15, 1985.
WHEREAS, a proper petition has been filed requesting
vacation of a portion of an alley between Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,
7, and Lots 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, in Block 19, Washington
Central Improvement Company's first addition to Kent; NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A public hearing on the aforesaid vacation
petition shall be at a regular meeting of the Kent City Council to
be held at 7:00p.m., July 15, 1985, in the Council Chambers in
the City Hall, Kent, Washington.
Section 2. The City Clerk ~hall give proper notice of
the hearing and cause the notice to be posted as provided by law.
Section 3. The Planning Director shall obtain the
necessary approval or rejection of, or other information from the
Water, Street, and Sewer Departments, and shall transmit such
information to the City Council so that the matter can be con-
sidered by the City Council at a regular meeting on July 15, 1985.
