A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the
City of Kent, Washington relating to subdivi-
sions of land; affirming the decision of the
Short Plat Committee to approve, with condi-
tions, the Okimoto Short Plat, SP-84-8.
WHEREAS, on November 5, 1984, the Council considered the
appeal of Okimoto Properties, a tenancy in common, which requested
that the Council modify the decision of the Kent Short Plat
Committee to approve with conditions the Okimoto Short Plat,
SP-84-8. Specifically, the appeal requested that the Council
include a condition that Okimoto Properties be permitted to
calculate density and site coverage before necessary rights-of-way
dedications were executed; and
WHEREAS, the Council heard the evidence presented by
Okimoto Properties and the Planning Department and reviewed the
written decision of the Short Plat Committee; and
\ffiEREAS, the Council reviewed Rezone No. 77-15, which
rezoned the subject property and required dedication of certain
rights-of-way prior to the issuance of any initial development
permits; and
WHEREAS, the Council determined that the Short Plat, as
approved by the Short Plat Committee, conformed with the Kent
Zoning Code and other land use controls; NOW THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The decision of the Kent Short Plat Committee
to approve the Okimoto Short Plat, SP-84-8, with conditions is
affirmed.
Section 2. Short Plat No. SP-84-8, the Okimoto Short
Plat, as approved is in conformity with the Kent Zoning Code and
other land use controls.
Passed at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
