A RESOLUTION of the City of Kent,
Washington, regarding vacation of a portion of
an alley connecting State and Kennebeck
Streets, between Smith and Ward Streets, more
particularly described as the East 96.00 feet
of the West 171.00 feet of alley in Block 14
Washington Central Improvement Company•s First
Addition to the City of Kent, as recorded in
Volume 3 of Plats, at Page 97,records of King
County; setting a public hearing for May 21,
1984. [Valley Medical Center application].
WHEREAS a proper petition has been filed requesting
vacation of a portion of the alley connecting State and Kennebeck
Streets, between Smith and Ward Streets, described as follows:
The East 96.00 feet of the West 171.00 feet
of alley in Block 14 Washington Central
Improvement Company•s First Addition to the
City of Kent, as recorded in Volume 3 of Plats,
at Page 97,records of King County; NOW
THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That a public hearing on the aforesaid
vacation petition shall be at a regular meeting of the Kent City
Council to be held at 7:00p.m., May 21, 1984, in the Council
Chambers in City Hall, Kent, Washington.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall give proper notice of
the hearing and cause the notice to be posted as provided by law.
Section 3. The Planning Director shall obtain the
necessary approval or rejection of, or other information from, the
Public Works Department and shall transmit said information to the
City Council so that the matter can be considered by the City
Co unci 1 at a reg u 1 a r meet i n g on May 21 , 1 9 8 4 .
Adopted at a regular meeting of the Kent City Council
this 16th day of April, 1984.
