A RESOLUTION of the City of Kent, Washington, amending the
Kent Sphere of Interest.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kent did, on April 17, 1972, by
Resolution #718Aadopt a report entitled 11 Kent's Sphere of Interest, .. and
WHEREAS, the City Council determined in 1978 that the Sphere of Interest
report needed to be amended and did amend the report by adopting Resolution #853 on
December 4, 1978, and
WHEREAS, continued review of the Sphere of Interest report indicates
a need for an additional amendment to the Sphere of Interest map, and
WHEREAS, the City Council Public Works and Planning Committee reviewed
the proposed map change on December 8, 1983, and recommended approval, and
WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed the proposed map change at a workshop
on December 12, 1983, NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the proposed map amendment to Kent's Sphere of Interest,
attached hereto as Exhibit 11 A11 and incorporated herein by reference as if fully set
forth herein, be and the same hereby is approved and the Kent Sphere of Interest be
and the same hereby is amended in accordance herewith.
Passed at a regular meeting of the Kent City Council this 19th day of
December, 1983.
