A RESOLUTION of the City of Kent, Washington
commending Councilmember Billie Johnson.

WHEREAS, Councilmember BILLIE JOHNSON will conclude her term of office
on January 1, 1984; and
WHEREAS, BILLIE JOHNSON has served as a member of the Kent City Council
since December 1973, and as President·of the Council in 1982 and 1983; and
WHEREAS, the City of Kent and its citizens commend her for the energy,
honesty and integrity, and dedication with which she has approached her duties
and responsibilities as a Kent City Councilmember; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of the City of Kent on their O\'tn
behalf and on behalf of the Citizens of the City of Kent acknowledge the
contributions of BILLIE JOHNSON as a Kent City Councilmember; NOW, THEREFORE,
be it
RESOLVED that the Citizens of the City of Kent, Washington by and
through their Mayor and City Council do hereby extend to BILLIE JOHNSON their
thanks and appreciation for her sincere and dedicated efforts on their behalf
during her term of office as Kent City Councilmember.
Passed at a Regular Meeting of the Kent City Council this 19th day of
