A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the
City of Kent, Washington authorizing the Mayor
to execute an Easement Deed from Union Pacific
Land Resources Corporation.
WHEREAS, Union Pacific Land Resources Corporation has
tendered to City of Kent an Easement Deed and Agreement covering
drainage facilities upon, along and under the surface of certain
land situate in the County of King, State of Washington, described
in Exhibit A thereto attached and made a part thereof; said
Easement Deed and Agreement being identified as UIC Law Department
Document No. 1-2409-3; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Kent, Washington has
said proposed Easement Deed and Agreement before it and has given
it careful review and consideration; and
WHEREAS, it is considered that the best interest of said
City of Kent will be subserved by the acceptance of said Easement
Deed and Agreement;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KEN'r:
That the terms of the Easement Deed and Agreement
submitted by Union Pacific Land Resources Corporation as aforesaid
be, and the same are hereby accepted in behalf of said City;
That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized,
empowered and directed to execute said Easement Deed and Agreement
on behalf of said City, and that the City Clerk of said City is
hereby authorized and directed to attest said Easement Deed and
Agreement and to attach to each duplicate original said Easement
Deed and Agreement a certified copy of this Resolution.
