A RESOLUTION of the City Council
of the City of Kent, Washington, regarding va-
cation of a portion of 36th Avenue South, a
public street in the City of Kent.
WHEREAS, a proper petition has been filed requesting
vacation of a portion of 36th Avenue South, a public street
area located in Kentwood Hills Division 1 Addition to the
City of Kent as recorded in Volume 64 of Plats, Pages 62 and
63, records of King County, Washington, more particularly
described in Exhibit 11 A11 attached hereto and incorporated
herein by reference, NOW, THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
HEREBY RESOLVE:
Section 1. That the hearing on the aforesaid vacation
shall be at a regular meeting of the Kent City Council to be
held at 7 o•clock p.m., May 3, 1982 in the Council Chambers
in the City Hall, Kent, Washington.
Seetion 2. The City Clerk shall give proper notice of
the hearing and cause the notice to be posted as provided by
law.
Section 3. The Planning Director shall obtain the nec-
essary approval or rejection of the appropriate city depart-
ments and shall transmit said information to the City Council
so the matter can be considered by the City Council at a reg-
ular meeting of May 3, 1982.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
That portion of 36th Avenue south in the Northwest quarter of
Section 27, Township 22 North, Range 4 E, W.M., in King County,
Washington, being described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 1 of Block 4 of
Kentwood Hills Division il, as recorded in Volume 64 of Plats on
pages 62 and 63, the True Point of Beginning, thence S 00°58'28"
West, along the west line of said Lot 1, a distance of 138.13
feet, to the south line of said Lot 1; Thence south 88°47'18"
East, along said south line, a distance of 26.91 feet; Thence
South 62°40'58" West a distance of 47.59 feet; Thence North
00°58'28" East, parallel to and 15 feet west of the west line of
said Lot 1 and parallel to and 15 feet east of the east line of
Lot 49 of Randall Park Div. il as recorded in Volume 91 of Plats
on page 51, a distance of 133.69 feet, to a point 15 feet east of
the intersection point of the centerline of said 36th Avenue South
with the centerline of s. 26lst Place; Thence N 29°56'15" East a
distance of 30.98 feet, to the True Point of Beginning.
Containing 2344.4 square feet, more or less
