HomeMy WebLinkAbout932RESOLUTION NO. Cj~~ A RESOLUTION of the City of Kent, Washington, regarding vacation of a portion of a public street in the City of Kent. WHEREAS, a proper petition has been filed requesting vacation of a portion of 101st Avenue SE, a public street lo- cated in the City of Kent, described as follows: A right-of-way, 60 feet in width, situated in a por- tion of the SW quarter of the NW quarter of Section 2 Township 22 North, Range 5 East, W.M., in King County, Washington. The centerline of which, is des- cribed as follows: Beginning at a point on the north line of said SW quarter a distance of 390.03 feet east of the NW cor- ner of the SW quarter, thence south 00°19'51 11 west, parallel to the west line of said SW quarter, a dis- tance of 200.00 feet; thence along a curve to the left with a radius of 461.98 feet, a central angle of 16°22'26 11 and a length of 132.02 feet, t a point 330.00 feet south of the north line of said SW quarter, said point being the terminus of said cneterline. Less the north 30.00 feet thereof, for road; NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO HEREBY RESOLVE: Section 1. That the hearing on the aforesaid vacation shall be at a regular meeting of the Kent City Council to be held at 8 o'clock p.m. August 17, 1981 in the Council Chambers in the Kent City Hall, Kent, Washington. Section 2. The Clerk shall give proper notice of the hearing and casue notice to be posted as provided by law. Section 3. The Planning Director shall obtain the nec- essary written approval or rejection of the Water, Sewer and Street department and shall transmit said information to the City Council so the matter can be considered by the City Coun- cil at a regular meeting of August 17, 1981. PASSED at a regular meeting of the Kent City Council this 20th day of July, 1981.
