A RESOLUTION of the City of Kent, Washington, regarding the annexation of cer- tain property in King County into the City of Kent for municipal purposes (EAST HILL WELL PROPERTY) • WHEREAS, the City of Kent has acquired certain property in King county hereinafter described and has drill- ed a well thereon for the purpose of adding to its domestic water source and supply, and WHEREAS, it has been determined that it would be in the best interests of the City to annex said property into the City for municipal purposes, and WHEREAS, RCW 35A.l4.300 provides for such annex- ations by a majority vote of the legislative bodies of code cities, Kent being a code city, NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE: Section 1. The following described property in King County, Washington: The South 158 feet of Tract 20, R.O. Smith's Orchard Tracts Addition to Kent, according to plat recorded in Volume 12 of Plats, Page 27 in King County Washington; EXCEPT the South 30 feet of the East 168 feet thereof. be annexed into the City of Kent for municipal purposes. Section 2. That the Director of Public Works or his designee prepare and file the necessary notice of intent to annex with the King County Boundary Review Board. PASSED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council this 16th day of June, 1980.
