WHEREAS, Councilman William J. Carey will conclude his
term of office on July 7, 19&0, and
WHEREAS the Mayor and City Council of the City of Kent
on their behalf and on behalf of the citizens of the City of Kent
wish to~knowledge the contributions of Bill Carey to the City
of Kant and its citizens, and to commend him for the energy, sin-
cerity and honest dedication with which he approached his duties
and responsibilities as a Kent City Councilperson, NOW, THEREFOR£,
be it
RESOLVED that the citizens of the City of Kent, Washing-
ton~ by and through their Mayor and City Council do herewith extend
to Bill Carey their thanks and appreciation for his sincere and
dedicated efforts on their behalf during his term of office as
Kent City Councilperson.
PASSED at a Regular Meeting of the Kent City Council
