A RESOLUTION of the City of Kent,
Washington, regarding vacation of a portion of
Helen Street, a public street in the City of Kent.
WHEREAS a proper petition has been filed requesting
vacation of Helen Street located in Strain's First Addition
as recorded in Volume 65 of Plats, Page 93, Records of King
County, Washington; EXCEPT those portions lying within the
Valley Freeway, NOW, THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DO
HEREBY RESOLVE:
Section 1. That the hearing on the aforesaid vacation
shall be at a regular meeting of the Kent City Council to be
held at 8 o'clock p.m., June 2, 1980 in the Council Chambers
in Kent City Hall, Kent, Washington.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall give proper notice of
the hearing and cause notice to be posted as provided by law.
Section 3. The Planning Director shall obtain the nec-
essary written approval or rejection of the water, sewer and
street departments and shall transmit said information to the
City Council so the matter can be considered by the City
Council at a regular meeting of June 2, 1980.
PASSED at a regular meeting of the Kent City Council
this 5th day of May, 1980.
