A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Kent, Washington, declaring its intention to improve a part of King County by the widening and/or reconstruc- tion of the southerly one-half of Kent-Kangley Road (SR 516} from 1450 feet west of 116th Avenue SE to the intersection of 116th Ave- nue SE with asphalt pavement, channelization, concrete curb and gutter, asphalt sidewalks, storm drainage, underground power, street lighting and fire signal rebuild at the inter- section of 114th Avenue and Kent-Kangley Road, together with construction and installation of sanitary sewer stubs and necessary appurten- ances thereto at locations 189 feet and 593 feet west of 114th Avenue SE and a water main 453 feet east of llOth Avenue SE; and to create a local improvement district to assess a por- tion of the cost and expense of carrying out such improvement against the properties spec- ially benefited thereby, and notifying all persons who desire to object to the project to appear and present their objections at a meeting of the City Council to be held on March 3, 1980. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. It is the intention of the Council of the City of Kent, Washington, to order the improvement of the property within King County, Washington, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, by the widening and/or construction of the southerly one-half of Kent-Kangley Road (SR 516} from 1450 feet west of 116th Avenue SE to the intersection of 116th Avenue SE, together with construction and installation of sanitary sewers and necessary appurtenances thereto at locations 189 feet and 593 feet west of 114th Avenue SE and by the construction and installation of water main stub 453 feet east of llOth Avenue SE as described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof. Section 2. The total estimated cost and expense of the improvement is declared to be $257,893.95 of which $38,277.03 shall be borne and assessed against the properties specially benefited by such improvement to be included in the local improvement district to be established embracing as near as may be all properties specially benefited by such improvement. Section 3. All persons who may desire to object to the improvement herein described are hereby notified to appear and present such objections to the Kent City Council at a regular meeting of March 3, 1980 at 8 o'clock p.m. in the City Council Chambers at the Kent City Hall. Section 4. The Public Works Director of the City of Kent is hereby directed to submit to the City Council on or prior to March 3, 1980 all data and information required by law to be submitted. The foregoing Resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Kent, Washington, and approved by the Mayor at a regular meeting thereo~ February 4, 1980.
