A RESOLUTION of the City Council
of the City of Kent, Washington, relating to
King County Forward Thrust Park Funds.
WHEREAS the City of Kent is desirous of acquiring
and/or developing park and open space property in the East
Hill area of the City, and
WHEREAS there are monies available for such pruposes
under the King County Forward Thrust Program, and
WHEREAS King County has indicated its willingness to
make such monies available to the City of Kent, and the City
is willing to accept such monies from the county, NOW,
THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City of Kent be and hereby is authorized to
accept monies from King County under the auspicious
of the King County Forward Thrust Program.
2. The monies shall be used by the City solely for
the purchase and/or development of park and open
space property within the East Hill area of the
City.
3. The City in accepting and using any such monies
shall adhere to all rules and regulations pre-
scribed in King County Resolution 34571.
