A meeting of the Kent Firemen ' s Pension Board was called
to order at 10: 15 a.m. by Chairman Alex Thornton . Other
board members present : Marie Jensen , M. L. Armstrong,
Don Bridge and dames Smail.
Discussion was had on the funds now contained in the Firemen ' s
Relief & Pension Fund. It was noted that the cash balance
as of .Tune 30 is $28, 675.36. A motion was made , seconded and
duly passed to have the City Treasurer invest $23 ,000.00 of
this money.
There being no further business to come before the board,
the meeting; was adjourned.
