This is to notify you that the Land Use and Planning Board will hold a
Workshop on MONDAY, October 12, 2009, in Kent City Hall, City Council
Chambers East at 7:00 p.m. No public testimony is taken at workshops, although
the public is welcome to attend. Please bring your material from the last two
workshops. The workshop agenda will include the following item(s):
1. CPA-2007-4 Midway Subarea Plan
Continued discussion of the Midway Subarea Plan (the Plan), in particular,
Chapter Four Framework for Midway with its goals and policies.
2. CPZ-2007-2 Midway Design Guidelines
Presentation of the Midway Design Guidelines, a framework of design
options to guide Midway’s redevelopment and that supports the
extension of high capacity light rail transit into the area.
