While it is expected that all must satisfactorily pass probation to attain the level of permanent status, there is another factor which could be impacted by the order of selection. It is possible that by year' s end, we may have to reduce the rank of two personnel due to the completion of the Bond projects. This would possibly affect one (1) Lieutenant position. If all the probationary Lieutenants successfully completed probation, then the determination of who would be reduced in rank would be in accordance with Civil Service Rules. WRITTEN: will be given to all qualified Entry level applicants. Minimum passing score = 70% PHYSICAL: will be given to all Lateral entry applicants and Only those Entry level applicants with a score of 70% or greater on the Written test.
