The regular meeting of the Civil Service Commission was
held on March 5, 1975. Present were barren Bell , Hal Cline,
Ken Yahn and Chief Foster.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
A motion was made and seconded to extend the Eligibility
List for Law Enforcement Officer to March 31 , 1975. Motion
carried. A motion was made and seconded to extend the
Eligibility List for Fire Lieutenant to March 31 . 1975.
Motion carried.
The Secretary was asked to check in the minutes to see if
the changes in the eligibility for Police Lieutenant had
been officially changed.
A motion was made and seconded to authorize the Chief Examiner
to conduct examinations for the positions of Police Sergeant
and Police Lieutenant, to be completed prior to June 1 , 1975.
Motion carried.
The secretary was directed to add a new section in the Rules
and Regulations covering the position of Jailor.
The commission reviewed Rules VI thru XI and directed the
secretary to rewrite some sections before the next meeting.
The next meeting will be held on March 26 at the Fire Station
at 7 P.M.
