The regular meeting of the Kent Civil Service Commission was
held on Oct. 24, 197a, Present were Don Bell , John MacGregor,
Chief McQuery and Chief Foster.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
The amendments to Rule VIII concerning qualifications for
the police department and Rule IX concerning qualifications
for the fire department are still being worked on and will
be considered at a later meeting.
A motion was made and seconded to not extend the Eligibility
List for Patrol personnel. Motion carried.
A motion was made and seconded to extend the Eligibility
List for Police Clerk for 4 months. Motion carried.
A motion was made and seconded to extend the Firefighter
Eligibility List for 3 months. Motion carried.
The Chief Examiner reported that Firefighters Webb, Svenvold
and Klock had successfully completed the 2nd Class exam.
Meeting adjourned.
