the regular meeting of the Civil Service Commission for Fire District
' No. 37 was held on Nov. 12, 1970. Present were John Fournier, Or.,
Al Anderson and Chief Freelove. Minutes of the previous meeting were
approved. '
A motion was made and seconded to amend Rule 10, Section 2, to read:
Eligible lists shall become effective upon approval thereof by the
secretary—chief examiner's signature to the effect that the list was
legally prepared and represents the relative rating of the names
appearing thereon. Eligible lists, including promotional lists, shall
remain in effect for six (6) months and may be extended by action of
the civil service commission for as long as is deemed necessary.
Commission action to extend these lists must be taken at least every
six (6) months.
Motion carried.
A motion was made and seconded to amend Pule 8, Section4 by delet&ng
Firefighter Mechanic. Motion carried.
A motion was made and seconded to amend Rule 8, Section 9, (1) to read:
Must have served four (4) years as addsistant chief or higher in a paid
fire department. Motion carried.
An examination for Lieutenant will be held with Firefighters Campbell
and Kimball eligible, and an examination for 2nd Class Firefighter will
be held with Firefighters Bowerman and Johnson eligible.
Chief Freelove reported that David Rollins did not eomolete his probation.
