Call to Order Chair Thomas called the meeting to order at 5:30 PM. 2. Roll Call All Commissioners were in attendance, and all attended remotely. 3. Memo dated September 4, 2024 from Chief Padilla requesting to test for the rank of Sergeant and that the following process and weights be applied: - Assessment Center & Work Performance Review (WPR): combined dimension of testing process will total 100% - Chief's Interview: pass/fail Chair Thomas made the following motion: "I make a motion to accept and authorize the request to test for the rank of Sergeant with the weights as stated." Commissioner Mitchell seconded the motion; motion passed 3-0. B. Memo dated September 18, 2024 from Chief Civil Service Examiner Pearlina Chhaysymeexo regarding the rescheduling of the November and canceling the December meetings. After some discussion, the Commission agreed to move the November meeting to November 20 and they agreed to cancel the December meeting. Chair Thomas then made the motion: "I make a motion to move the November meeting to November 20 and cancel the December meeting." Commissioner Weissich seconded the motion; motion passed 3-0. S.
