For valuable consideration and by mutual consent of the parties, the project contract is modified as follows: 1. Section I of the Agreement, entitled "Description of Work," is hereby modified to add additional work or revise existing work as follows: In addition to work required under the original Agreement and any prior Amendments, Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to: Delete Bid Item 1295 "Pedestrian Railing" and replace with new item CO #5 "Galvanized Steel Pedestrian Railing". 2. This Change Order, unless otherwise provided, does not relieve the Contractor from strict compliance with the guarantee and warranty provisions of the original contract, particularly those pertaining to substantial completion date. Regarding price evaluation, on 76th Ave north segment, bid prices averaged $279/LF for 623 LF in July 2022, and the average bid prices of the 218th widening bidders was $403/LF for 200 LF in April 2024. Change order pricing of $343/-W/LF for 104 LF appears reasonable. ` 3 Let us know if we can begin preparation of a change order deleting BI 1295 11OLF @ $258/LF and replacing with CO Ped Rail 104LF @ $382.50/1-F.
