Presentation Dylan High Dylan High, Executive Director of the Greater Kent Historical Society and Kent Museum expressed appreciation for the support of the community and council. The Greater Kent Historical Society operates the Kent Museum and inspires the community to explore and discover their history. We educate and preserve diverse family and kinfolk storyline for future generations. High reviewed 2023 numbers of visitors, attendees, interactions at community events, members, gifts from individuals, grant funds received and hours volunteered from the board and volunteers. High talked about 2023 exhibits and program highlights. The GKHS Strategic Plan was developed with Weatherhead Experience Design in November 2021, with funding from the City of Kent. Update exhibits but maintain historic structures of the house Store mission-relevant items: deaccession those not aligning with mission High talked about recent successes: Active, diverse audience that spans the Kent community; Deeper partnerships that expand our reach; and Stronger, inspired Kent community Councilmembers expressed appreciation of Dylan High and the board members and their continued support and outreach in preserving Kent's history. 2 Federal Way Link Extension Mark Madfai 20 MIN. Engineering Supervisor, Mark Madfai is one of the City's liaisons for the Federal Way Link Extension Project, along with Derek Hawkes. Madfair reviewed the Federal Way Link Extension Kent alignment - Segments 1 and 2.
