Agenda:
1. Call to Order
Chair Thomas called the meeting to order at 5:30 PM.
2. Roll Call
All Commissioners were in attendance. Commissioners Thomas and Mitchell
attended remotely and Commissioner Weissich attended in-person.
3. Changes to the Agenda
There were no changes to the agenda.
4. Approval of the Minutes
Commissioner Mitchell made a motion to approve the minutes from the
January 24, 2024 regular Commission meeting and the February 13,
2024 special Civil Service Commission meeting. Motion was moved and
seconded by Commissioner Weissich; motion passed 3-0.
5. Consent Items to Accept
A. Letter dated January 11, 2024 from Chief Padilla congratulating Adam Davis on
being hired as a Probationary Lateral Police Officer effective March 1, 2024.
B. Letter dated February 8, 2024 from Chief Padilla to Tabitha Solari notifying her
that she successfully completed the probationary period for the position of Code
Enforcement Officer and is appointed to regular employment status effective
February 16, 2024.
C. Letter dated February 14, 2024 from Chief Padilla congratulating Fabiano Landi
on being hired as a Probationary Police Recruit Officer effective March 1, 2024.
D. Letter dated February 15, 2024 from Chief Padilla to Terry Cobb congratulating
him on being hired as a Probationary Police Recruit Officer effective March 1,
2024.
E. Memo dated February 22, 2024 from Acting Chief Examiner Stephanie King
detailing the eligibility list removals through February 22, 2024.

There being no questions, Chair Thomas made a motion to accept items A-E.
Commissioner Weissich seconded the motion; motion passed 3-0.
6. Items to Approve
A. Continuous Testing Eligibility List for Lateral/Experienced Corrections Officer
that was established on January 8, 2024.
B. Continuous Testing Eligibility List for Entry Level Police Officer that was
established on February 9, 2024.
C. Continuous Testing Eligibility List for Entry Level Corrections Officer that was
established on February 9, 2024.
There being no questions, Commissioner Mitchell made a motion to approve
items A-C. Commissioner Weissich seconded the motion; motion passed 3-
0.
7. Action Items
A. Memo dated February 1, 2024 from David Doucett to Chief Padilla requesting
to be reinstated and corresponding memo from Chief Padilla supporting that
request and asking that the Commission approve his placement upon a
reinstatement list.
There being no discussion, Commissioner Mitchell made a motion to approve
items A-C. Commissioner Weissich seconded the motion; motion passed 3-
0.

There being nothing further, Chair Thomas made a motion to adjourn.
Commissioner Mitchell seconded the motion; motion passed 3-0. Meeting was
adjourned at 5:33 PM.
