Agenda:
1. Call to Order
Chair Thomas called the meeting to order at 5:30 PM.
2. Roll Call
All Commissioners were in attendance and all attended remotely.
3. Changes to the Agenda
There were no changes to the agenda.
4. Approval of the Minutes
Commissioner Mitchell made a motion to approve the minutes from the
October 25, 2023 regularly scheduled Civil Service Commission
meeting. Motion was moved and seconded by Commissioner Weissich;
motion passed 3-0.
S. Consent Items to Accept
A. Letter dated October 3, 2023 from Chief Padilla congratulating Ernesto Green
on being hired as a Probationary Lateral Police Officer effective December 1,
2023.
B. Letter dated November 1, 2023 from Chief Padilla to Cmdr. Jason Bishop
notifying him that he successfully completed the probationary period and is
appointed to regular employment status effective November 1, 2023.
C. Letter dated November 1, 2023 from Chief Padilla to Sgt. David Kallir notifying
him that he successfully completed the probationary period and is appointed to
regular employment status effective November 1, 2023.
D. Memo dated November 9, 2023 from Chief Examiner Winecka detailing the
eligibility list removals through November 9, 2023.
There being no questions, Chair Thomas made a motion to accept items A-D.
Commissioner Mitchell seconded the motion; motion passed 3-0.

6. Items to Approve
A. Continuous Testing Eligibility List for Lateral/Experienced Police Officer that
was established on September 8, 2023.
B. Continuous Testing Eligibility List for Lateral/Experienced Corrections Officer
that was established on September 18, 2023.
C. Continuous Testing Eligibility List for Lateral/Experienced Corrections Officer
that was established on October 20, 2023.
D. Eligibility List for Evidence Technician Supervisor that was established on
October 30, 2023.
E. Continuous Testing Eligibility List for Lateral/Experienced Police Officer that
was established on November 8, 2023.
F. Continuous Testing Eligibility List for Entry Level Police Officer that was
established on November 8, 2023.
G. Continuous Testing Eligibility List for Entry Level Corrections Officer that was
established on November 8, 2023.
There being no questions, Commissioner Weissich made a motion to approve
items A-G. Commissioner Mitchell seconded the motion; motion passed 3-
0.
7. Action Items
There were no action items.
8. For the Good of the Order
Chief Examiner Winecka reminded the Commission that the December meeting was
cancelled. Commissioner Mitchell wished everyone happy holidays.
9. Adjournment
There being nothing further, Commissioner Mitchell made a motion to adjourn.
Commissioner Weissich seconded the motion; motion passed 3-0. Meeting was
adjourned at 5:33 PM.
