A minimum passing score of 70% will be required to continue and the written test will have a final weight of 30%. - Up to the top seven (7) candidates from the written test (including ties) will be invited to an oral board interview. A minimum passing score of 70% is required and the oral board interview will have a final weight of 70%. - An eligibility list will be established for those who pass both the written exam and oral board interview. In accordance with Rule 11.04, the Commission may appoint any one of the top five (5) candidates listed on the eligibility list. - The Commission or their designee, in cooperation with the HR Director, may conduct second interviews of any or all of the top five (5) candidates listed on the eligibility list. - The finalist selected by the Commission for appointment must successfully complete a reference check, a background check, and obtain Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) clearance.
