Signature Pointe Levee -Amendment 1
Dear Christopher:
This letter memorializes the termination of the Goods & Services agreement between the City of
Kent ("City") and Traffic Control Plan Co. of Washington, LLC ("Vendor") dated November 29,
2022, concerning written traffic control plans for the Signature Pointe Levee. Both parties'
performance under that Agreement is excused without penalty or liability to the other party.
In accordance with Section Five (V) of the Agreement, either party may terminate this
Agreement, with or without cause, upon providing the other party thirty (30) days written notice.
On March 27, 2023, you informed the City of intent to terminate this agreement via the attached
communication due to work overload. As a result of this notice, the City considers this agreement,
any amendments, and all obligations thereunder to have terminated on April 26, 2023.

To all-
I must let you all know that due to unchangeable circumstances I will not be
able to continue to provide TCPs for the City of Kent as of Monday 3/27/23.
It has nothing to do with any of you...it's all me. Since my employee left the
company in December, I have been in a constant back-up with TCP requests. I
currently have requests for 35+ sheets (this number does not include City of
Kent requested sheets). I have been working 12 hours a days/7 days a week
basically since Jan 1...even taking my laptop with me on vacation to keep up.
Again, I am not pointing any fingers at City of Kent. The stress has put a strain
on me mentally as well as physically and I need to change my approach with my
customer base. City of Kent is not the only one I am having this conversation
with. I am not 'replacing" City of Kent with someone else....... I have had to
notify the majority of my customers of the same thing and will not be taking on
any additional customers for the foreseeable future.
I can revise any sheets that I have already prepared. I will not be able to start
any new projects...most notably Drew (21-3003 Road Diet project) & Thomas
(2023 Reith Road Roundabouts).
This decision does not come easily. I have gone back & forth with this but in the
end, I must go in this direction.
I have enjoyed working with all of you. I know this will put you in a bind and I
sincerely apologize.
