5. Public Works Agreement with M.A.D. Construction, LLC - Authorize
Committee Member Larimer asked for specifics of scope of work, especially
concerning leaks in the lobby of City Hall. This project does not address those
leaks, the lobby project will be brought to Committee later this year.
Director Parascondola requested further explanation of scope of work for
Committee members regarding Council Chambers from Facilities
Superintendent Ackley. Facilities Superintendent Ackley provided more
details regarding the scope of work that will be done.
MOTION: Authorize the Mayor to sign a Public Works Agreement
with M.A.D. Construction, LLC in the amount of $124,386.90, to
provide labor and materials for the Kent City Council Chambers
renovation project, subject to final terms and conditions acceptable

6. Consultant Services Agreement with Broderick Architects for the
Riverbend Driving Range Renovation and Expansion Project -
Recommend
Committee Member Fincher noted for the record that the reading of the
amount should be $200,200.
MOTION: Authorize the Mayor to sign a Consultant Services
Agreement with Broderick Architects, in an amount not to exceed
$200,200, for design services on the Riverbend Golf Course Driving
Range Renovation and Expansion Project, subject to final contract
terms acceptable to the Parks Director and City Attorney.

7. Interlocal Agreement for Creation of South King Housing and
Homelessness Partners - Authorize
Committee Member Larimer requested clarification how SKHHP was in
alignment with work from KC Affordable Housing Task Force. Human Services
Manager Merina Hanson explained that SKHHP would be helping South KC
Cities track the recommendations that come out of the report for those Cities
that participate
MOTION: Authorize the Mayor to sign the Interlocal Agreement
between the cities of Auburn, Burien, Covington, Des Moines, Federal
Way, Kent, Normandy Park, Renton, Tukwila, and King County for the
creation and operation of South King Housing and Homelessness
Partners and take all acts consistent with the authority provided for
by the Agreement, subject to final terms and conditions acceptable to
the Parks Director and City Attorney.

S. Flood Protection, Habitat Restoration and Recreation Covenant with
King County Flood Control District at Van Doren's Landing - Authorize
MOTION: Authorize the Mayor to sign a Flood Protection, Habitat
Restoration and Recreation Covenant with the King County Flood
Control District for three tax parcels at Van Doren's Landing on the
Green River, subject to final terms and conditions acceptable to the
Parks Director and City Attorney.

9. Provider Roundtable — ANEW - Informational
Karen Dove representing ANEW will be rescheduled to present information
about her organization.
10. Provider Roundtable — Jewish Family Services - Informational
Jewish Family Services is a multi service agency with three offices throughout
King County. The Kent location serves the refugee and immigrant
communities in South King County with a focus on three main aspects of
integration which are Social, Civic and Economic. You do not have to be
Jewish to take advantage of the Services.

- Seeking volunteers - ESL tutors, family and professional mentors

11. Provider Roundtable — Neighborhood House - Informational
Neighborhood House serves a variety of City of Kent Residence providing
employment and training services ranging from high/one touch intensive
services, case management and one on one services to help clients explore
employment opportunities or training.
